Saturday 29th June - Bollin Valley Banger

Today 13 D runners headed out for a Bollin Banger or Bimble in some very heated conditions.

After a warm warm-up, we headed up the trail and across the fields for an obligatory bridge pic before Prestbury. A large dragonfly interrupted proceedings and was a welcome sight. After a loop of the village, the group then headed over the fields to the golf course and then  down Dorchester way.

A trip through Tytherington woods next and then back to the Bollin Valley. At this point most of us wanted to jump into the river, but we resisted and headed back along the top path for some last undulations before arriving at the car park.

Just over 5 miles but sufficient in the weather.

Well ran everyone!

Mel, Andy and Nic
