Macclesfield Harriers Trail Group

A blog to keep the members of Macclesfield Harriers Trail Group (Saturday 9.00am Trail Running session) informed about our future runs. We run at a pace of 8m30s -11m00s/mile and have a standard run of about 4-6 miles (depends upon terrain) and also longer runs. Ideally you should be capable of running 5k in under 30 minutes to run with the Trail group. Saturday 6th July - Piggford Moor Round

A bit of rain and low cloud did not stop 6 D Trail runners from enjoying a 'challenging' and 'undulating' circuit of Piggford Moor and Shutlingsloe.

The atmosphere in the cloud was eerily silent and navigation 'interesting'. Basically we got soaked and had a good laugh!
