Saturday 25th November - Gawsworth Gavotte

The start
A bit of a surprise when we looked out of the window this morning ....snow!

This did not prevent 11 hardy D group runners from getting warm kit on and heading out for a VERY muddy run around Gawsworth & North Rode. Excellent atmosphere and excellent running/looping in challenging conditions underfoot. Special mention to David Newton on his first D run - well done David!

Quote of the day (from Dave Newton) ... "I can feel the water bubbling up in my shoes".

Saturday 18th November - Poynton Potter

The start
Today 16 D group runners headed off on a new route called the Poynton Potter. This is a 6 mile route with a mix of terrain. Today's adventures included Karl Downing playing 'hunt the shoe', John Littlewood playing 'hug the tree' and Elsa West playing 'outrun the cows'. Great running and looping and EXCELLENT post run coffee at Brookside Garden Centre cafe

Saturday 11th November - Hardingland Loop

Today 18 D Group runners headed off into the Forest for a Hardingland Loop. The weather was ideal for running although it was a little damp underfoot in places. Well run everyone.

Saturday 4th November - Congleton ParkRun (run or volunteer)

Congleton ParkRun
Today the D group run is the Congleton ParkRun (Astbury Mere). There are several reasons for this..

1. It is the 'graduation run' for the latest group of C25K graduates and E group will be there

2. It is the same day as Langley 7 (in the afternoon) so it is a good opportunity to volunteer .

Please try to come along to support the new 'couchies' (and have a run if you are not doing Langley or volunteer if you are doing Langley).

Coffee will be in the car park or at the small cafe.
