Today there is no official D Trail run as the leaders are all at events or on holiday.
We did ask leaders from the other running groups but nobody was available to help.
So, today is officially a DYOT (Do Your Own Thing).
- Do a parkrun (run or volunteer)
- Run with D on Friday or with the fell runners on Sunday
- Run solo
- Call a friend and arrange a sociable run
- Have a rest day
- Have a lie in

A blog to keep the members of Macclesfield Harriers Trail Group (Saturday 9.00am Trail Running session) informed about our future runs. We run at a pace of 8m30s -11m00s/mile and have a standard run of about 4-6 miles (depends upon terrain) and also longer runs. Ideally you should be capable of running 5k in under 30 minutes to run with the Trail group. Saturday 24th August - Kerridge Ridge
This morning 15 runners enjoyed a not very flat 5 mile loop around Rainow, Thornsett Farm, Kerridge Ridge and Oakenbank Lane. Lovely warm dry sunny weather and no wet feet for a change.

Saturday 17th August - Sponds Hill loop
We then turned back along the track down into Bakestonedale, then returned up and over Andrew's Knob and back down the Gritstone Trail path. By this time the sun was shining again and we'd all dried out.
