Saturday 26th March - Reverse Forest Five

The Start

Today 14 D groupers met for a 'reverse Forest 5' and we added a loop of the reservoir in for good measure. The wind was picking up and the rain was forecast but it was not too bad. Some very good hill work, good looping and the odd 'circle of doom' as requested by Mrs Whittaker.

The post-run flapjack provided by Mrs Gunn seemed to hit the spot.

Saturday 19th March - Lyme Park Parkrun

The start

Today 12 D groupers headed off to run the Lyme Park Park Run is near perfect conditions (there were 87 runners out today). There were some excellent times posted (including PBs) on this 'undulating' course.

After the Park Run we set off for a 'gentle' 3 mile loop around the park ..and then several people ran back to Macclesfield as part of their marathon training.
