A blog to keep the members of Macclesfield Harriers Trail Group (Saturday 9.00am Trail Running session) informed about our future runs.
We run at a pace of 8m30s -11m00s/mile and have a standard run of about 4-6 miles (depends upon terrain) and also longer runs. Ideally you should be capable of running 5k in under 30 minutes to run with the Trail group. Today a fearsome threesome braved a bright but cold morning to run a not Harrop Wood Harry. The 5 mile ad-hoc route included Oakenbank Lane, Waulkmill Wood & White Nancy. Lots of mud, ice and water.
