Macclesfield Harriers Trail Group

A blog to keep the members of Macclesfield Harriers Trail Group (Saturday 9.00am Trail Running session) informed about our future runs. We run at a pace of 8m30s -11m00s/mile and have a standard run of about 4-6 miles (depends upon terrain) and also longer runs. Ideally you should be capable of running 5k in under 30 minutes to run with the Trail group. Saturday 2nd April - Ben's 401 Marathon 215 @ Knutsford (Tatton Park)

The start!

Today D group (and E Group plus other Harriers) moved the group run to support Ben Smith as he ran his 215th consecutive marathon. The rain failed to spoil the day and even though it was the day before the Wilmslow Half Marathon there was a massive turnout.

Ben is running really well and he is really looking forward to seeing us again for M224 at Macclesfield - spread the word!
