Macclesfield Harriers Trail Group

A blog to keep the members of Macclesfield Harriers Trail Group (Saturday 9.00am Trail Running session) informed about our future runs. We run at a pace of 8m30s -11m00s/mile and have a standard run of about 4-6 miles (depends upon terrain) and also longer runs. Ideally you should be capable of running 5k in under 30 minutes to run with the Trail group. Saturday 26th March - Reverse Forest Five

The Start

Today 14 D groupers met for a 'reverse Forest 5' and we added a loop of the reservoir in for good measure. The wind was picking up and the rain was forecast but it was not too bad. Some very good hill work, good looping and the odd 'circle of doom' as requested by Mrs Whittaker.

The post-run flapjack provided by Mrs Gunn seemed to hit the spot.
