Today 9 runners came out for a tough little 6 mile route from Spuley Lane, Bollington up (and it was up all the way) to the view point on Sponds Hill. The weather then decided to take a turn for the worse with a very heavy shower passing through just as we reached the summit! This didn't dampen our spirits, although the promised view wasn't quite so good!We then turned back along the track down into Bakestonedale, then returned up and over Andrew's Knob and back down the Gritstone Trail path. By this time the sun was shining again and we'd all dried out.
