Today 10 D Trail Runners headed out on a version of several routes, which became a Bollin Valley Bimble and beyond.
In damp, mild conditions we headed from the car park into Riverside Park, ( no Egret ) and then doubled back to go under the railway bridge and around the golf course to Dorchester Way.
We then crossed over and had a back street tour of the estate in Tytherington, to eventually cross Manchester road and head around another estate ( and building site ) to The Middlewood Way.
A zip down to Clarke Lane bridge and then back up the canal to take the Middlewood Way back to the car park.
Well ran everyone.

A blog to keep the members of Macclesfield Harriers Trail Group (Saturday 9.00am Trail Running session) informed about our future runs. We run at a pace of 8m30s -11m00s/mile and have a standard run of about 4-6 miles (depends upon terrain) and also longer runs. Ideally you should be capable of running 5k in under 30 minutes to run with the Trail group. If you want to try out the Saturday group contact group leader Neil Gunn at neil.gunn@gmail.com or just come along for a run!
