Today 10 hardy runners set out in soggy conditions for Bridges Ridges and a look at a canal . A pheasant was present to see us off!
The changeable weather made for interesting clothing choices whilst heading up the Middlewood Way and onto the track at Clark Lane.
After the obligatory pause at Neil's Hill, the group sped through the garden and up onto the ridge road. Some welcome downhill and sunshine into Swancoe and the long descent down Hurdsfield road to the finish.
3 runners peeled off at the end and more wildlife in the car park to greet us on our return.
