Macclesfield Harriers Trail Group

A blog to keep the members of Macclesfield Harriers Trail Group (Saturday 9.00am Trail Running session) informed about our future runs. We run at a pace of 8m30s -11m00s/mile and have a standard run of about 4-6 miles (depends upon terrain) and also longer runs. Ideally you should be capable of running 5k in under 30 minutes to run with the Trail group. Saturday 8th July - Forest 5 recce

Today we had perfect weather for a recce of the 'Forest 5' route. 15 D group runners were out (all with water!) for the run. Some great running (the general feeling is that the route clockwise is harder than the same route anti-clockwise). Excellent looping and banter - well done chaps!
