Saturday 2nd May - Alderley Park for Heron Bothering

The start
Great turnout (16) for a run around Alderley Park, Radnor Mere, Alderley Edge & Finlow Hill. The weather stayed dry for this very varied route (with lots of wildlife spotting).

The group ran well today especially as the terrain was varied (trail, track, fields and muddy hills). We did 10 min miles on the flat sections and 12-13 min miles on the hills. It was great to see Harry and Julie out after their 26 mile run last week and also to see Louise Brown#2 out with D group!

The post run cake and banter were excellent - a lovely way to start the day. See you next week for the Bluebell Belter with Ali and Mel.
