A blog to keep the members of Macclesfield Harriers Trail Group (Saturday 9.00am Trail Running session) informed about our future runs.
We run at a pace of 8m30s -11m00s/mile and have a standard run of about 4-6 miles (depends upon terrain) and also longer runs. Ideally you should be capable of running 5k in under 30 minutes to run with the Trail group. Warm summer days were a distant memory this morning for 9 D Groupers doing a wet & windy 5.5 miles from Pym Chair into Goyt Valley and back over Shining Tor. Lots of lovely views ... not! Well ran everyone.
