Well...it
was a hot one but 8 D group runners were out today for a 'tootle' along
field paths, canal, quiet lanes and 'the Ridge' - the Swanscoe Swagger.
There was lots of banter and discussion about hydration, sunscreen, midges and the time passed quickly. It was a good 'taper' run for Anna Maddox before Snowdon (good luck) and it was also good to see Suzanne Baker back out with us. Sadly the plan to meet Anna Ireland did not work out ...but next week we have 'Scooby Snacks' (Ryles Arms) by popular request.
Well done everybody - time for a well deserved rest!
