Today 14 trail runners set out from Smithy Lane for a Christmas Pudding bashing 5 mile run around Rainow, Kerridge Ridge and Oakenbank Lane. Good running, banter and looping. Well done to everyone who ran home afterwards!
A blog to keep the members of Macclesfield Harriers Trail Group (Saturday 9.00am Trail Running session) informed about our future runs. We run at a pace of 8m30s -11m00s/mile and have a standard run of about 4-6 miles (depends upon terrain) and also longer runs. Ideally you should be capable of running 5k in under 30 minutes to run with the Trail group. If you want to try out the Saturday group contact group leader Neil Gunn at neil.gunn@gmail.com or just come along for a run!

Saturday 22nd December - Christmas Run
Today 18 D Trail runners were out for a run around Teggs Nose, Hardingland, Toot Hill and the forest. There were many elves and Santas in evidence as well as epic cakes afterwards - we were very lucky with the weather. Good running and banter - a very happy Christmas to everybody.
