A blog to keep the members of Macclesfield Harriers Trail Group (Saturday 9.00am Trail Running session) informed about our future runs.
We run at a pace of 8m30s -11m00s/mile and have a standard run of about 4-6 miles (depends upon terrain) and also longer runs. Ideally you should be capable of running 5k in under 30 minutes to run with the Trail group. Today 16 D group runners headed off on a new route called the Poynton
Potter. This is a 6 mile route with a mix of terrain. Today's adventures
included Karl Downing playing 'hunt the shoe', John Littlewood playing 'hug the tree' and Elsa West playing 'outrun the cows'. Great running and looping and EXCELLENT post run coffee at Brookside Garden Centre cafe
