20 enthusiastic runners were out today to experience the atmospheric forest environment. After a quick 'walking tag warm-up' [ names of those that didn't stand on one leg were noted :) ], off we ventured. Very low cloud and near zero visibility at the bottom of Shutlingsloe, meant a slight route amendment, just to be on the safe side!Much howling and protestations were expected along the exposed moor towards Standing Stone, due to the muddy bogs, misty drizzle and general wetness! However, the leaders were a tad disappointed as everyone skipped through and even appeared to enjoy. Another note taken; leaders need to try harder with route choice challenges, especially mud provision!
