Saturday 7th May - Pig's Nose

Today saw 9 D groupers, take on the "Pigs Nose" run, in warm and hazy conditions.

A hilly route, starting from  Hulley Road, running firstly onto the canal at Delamere Drive on up to Windmill Street. The first of the hills ( aka pigging hills ) is the ascent up Blakelow Road and up again, via Stoneyfold Lane. The climb continues up the bridle path eventually bringing us out on Buxton Old Road. Crossing over to Back Eddisbury Road, the intrepid nine headed to Cliff Lane for a pigging reward.

Eventually we rejoined Rainow Road for a short period, until getting back on the canal and back to the start. A tough little route but with some fantastic views. Pictures are a little sparce due to lighting issues.

Well run everyone!
