Macclesfield Harriers Trail Group

A blog to keep the members of Macclesfield Harriers Trail Group (Saturday 9.00am Trail Running session) informed about our future runs. We run at a pace of 8m30s -11m00s/mile and have a standard run of about 4-6 miles (depends upon terrain) and also longer runs. Ideally you should be capable of running 5k in under 30 minutes to run with the Trail group. Saturday 17th October - Dawn's Delightful Drills

13 runners out this morning in the drizzle for a 5.5ish miler from the Hairdressing suppliers on Hulley Road along the canal to Kerridge & back with a little loop of farm track & Middlewood way. We added in some hill work with a 'pyramid' on Neil's hill (Mean Mel making us add in a peak of a minute!) and a km of Fartleks along the Middlewood making best use of the lampposts. Seriously well done everyone - special mention to new runner Gillian who was 'Queen of the hills' this morning!
