A blog to keep the members of Macclesfield Harriers Trail Group (Saturday 9.00am Trail Running session) informed about our future runs. We run at a pace of 8m30s -11m00s/mile and have a standard run of about 4-6 miles (depends upon terrain) and also longer runs. Ideally you should be capable of running 5k in under 30 minutes to run with the Trail group. If you want to try out the Saturday group contact group leader Neil Gunn at neil.gunn@gmail.com or just come along for a run!

Saturday 16th February - Sponds Trig Circuit
The lovely spring weather brought out 10 keen trail runners this morning for a hilly loop of Sponds Hill via Andrew's Knob and the mining museum. The first couple of miles of 'undulations' were well worth the effort for the fantastic views. As usual, Shirley Sharp Eyes, aka Mel spotted the deer who were very well camouflaged.
Great running everyone!
