A blog to keep the members of Macclesfield Harriers Trail Group (Saturday 9.00am Trail Running session) informed about our future runs.
We run at a pace of 8m30s -11m00s/mile and have a standard run of about 4-6 miles (depends upon terrain) and also longer runs. Ideally you should be capable of running 5k in under 30 minutes to run with the Trail group. This morning 14 intrepid D-Groupers splashed their way across the fields from Nelson Pit to Lyme Park, ascended the Col de Cage, trotted through the woods & galloped back down to the canal. Well run everyone.
