Saturday 15th July - Canal & Swanscoe

A bit of damp in the air did not stop 22 D group runners having a lovely run around the Middlewood Way, Swanscoe, Kerridge. A bit of heron spotting, lots of looping, banter & cake eating. Well run!
Today we were joined by Dan Isherwood (England Athletics - Head of Insight & Performance Management) - he really enjoyed his run with us and may join the club. He passed on his thanks for the various conversations he had.

Saturday 8th July - Forest 5 recce

Today we had perfect weather for a recce of the 'Forest 5' route. 15 D group runners were out (all with water!) for the run. Some great running (the general feeling is that the route clockwise is harder than the same route anti-clockwise). Excellent looping and banter - well done chaps!
