The annual night Street-O organised by the Fell Section is on again for 2015.
Registration from 6.30pm in the Vale Inn (Food available until 9.00pm). Andy Skelhorn is promising 'something a bit different'.

Can be done solo or in teams ...low key and fun event.


More details to follow but do remember to bring a torch, pencil (x2) and a plastic bag in case it rains.

Saturday 12th December - Prestbury Pop with extras

Today, eight brave runners, faced a cold and rainy start from the Bollin Valley riverside car park, for a Prestbury Pop with extras.

We headed out along the track into some very very wet fields and around Prestbury village back to the golf course entrance. After seeing off a large flock of sheep, we made it over the hills up and over the course, where we managed to pick up yet more mud and water.

Over Dorchester way and through the back of the estate up to Manchester road, it finally stopped raining. Super looper Simon kept pace and everyone did some cracking work, in frankly quite manky conditions.

A great run by everyone.

Saturday 5th December - Swanscoe Surprise

Just 5 hardy D Groupers out today - Christmas parties, & race commitments prevented some from running!

A lovely, varied route taking in some muddy fields, and a couple of good climbs including Kerridge Ridge, for a bit of wind battering! We managed a decent pace considering the conditions and we were all kept together by Super Looper Simon who kept rounding us up!

Thursday 3rd December - Christmas Meal (FULLY BOOKED)

Tonight we do not need trainers or hi-viz ...it is time for the Saturday D group Christmas Meal.

We are looking forward to a good night out with plenty of 'banter'!

Saturday 28th November - Reservoir Rollick

14 D groupers out today for a chilly but dry 10K from Macclesfield Garden Centre along the canal to Fools Nook, a quick loop of Sutton reservoir & back to the garden centre via a mixture of woodland, fields & roads.  Plenty of mud encountered today, Mel P's new shoes christened but no shoes lost thankfully!
Coffee followed at the garden centre for those who could make it along with E group and  a lovely surprise visit from Gemma & baby Luke.
